Paris Hilton born as Paris Whitney Hilton on February 17th, 1981 in New York City is a great multi-faceted American personality. She is an actress, model and a recording artist. Above all she is a celebrity socialite hailing from a famous business house, which deals in real estates and runs a chain of Hilton Hotels across the world. Born of father Richard Hilton and Kathy Hilton, Paris is the oldest of the four children born in the family. The other three younger ones are sister Nicky Hilton and brothers Barron Hilton II and Conrad Hilton III. Paris is related to Elizabeth Taylor and Zsa Zsa Gabor and she is also the niece of Kyle Richards and Kim Richards. Her share from family inheritance is estimated anywhere between $30 and $50 million.

A high school dropout with a GED from Dwight School in New York, Paris Hilton appeared as a ten-year-old beach girl in a movie "Wishman" in 1991. As she grew into a beautiful sensuous lady, Paris Hilton began having the spotlight on her as a celebrity socialite. Her passion to hog the limelight and stay focused under the arc lights was so intense that she tried to alter her beautiful body through extensive plastic surgery, tinted contact lenses and hair coloring. After a couple of seasons of "Simple Life" were aired on Fox, the show was cancelled due to the reported dispute between Hilton and Richie. Paris Hilton earned several nominations for her performance in the series. Interestingly for her role in the "House of Wax" {2005} she won Razzie Award for her Worst performance as supporting actress.

It was believed "The Simple Life" garnered worldwide attention due a leak of a homemade sex video with her then boyfriend Rick Salomon, just before the premiere of the reality series. Critics blasted it saying that it was a deliberate publicity stunt, to which Paris vehemently denied and went on to sue her then boyfriend Rick Salomon and finally settled the matter out of court. The said video was released on DVD titled as "1 Night in Paris in 2004" under directorial credits to Paris and won three AVN Awards in 2005.
