Biography

Paris Hilton was found guilty of driving violations on three occasions. Once under the influence of alcohol in September 2006 and was let off on probation. On two more occasions she was found guilty of driving with a suspended license in mid January and in late February of 2007. In early of May 2007, Judge Michael T. Sauer sentenced her to 45 days in jail beginning from June 5th 2007. After serving 22 days in prison Hilton was released on June 26th 2007 to a grand welcome by a platoon of paparazzi and hundreds of gleeful clicking camera men.

It was the same Paris Hilton who grew in palatial palaces including the best of suites in their chain of hotels Waldorf-Astoria in Beverley Hills, Manhattan, and the Hamptons has now tasted the life of a utterly gutterly life {by her standards of course} in jail suffering extreme claustrophobia and toilet-phobia.

The self-proclaimed 'iconic blonde of the decade' who is often compared to Marilyn Monroe and Princess Diana had been humbled by her experience in the jail. According to the telephonic interview with a veteran US journalist, Barbara Walters on June 11th, 2007, Paris felt that God has given her a chance to change her wild partying lifestyle and become a positive role model for young girls who look up to her.

Paris Hilton, who was dragged from court wailing and sobbing, has now decided to abandon her lifestyle of unending VIP parties, red carpets and the limelight. She said, "I have become much more spiritual. God has given me this new chance. I know now that I can make a difference, that I have the power to do that. I have been thinking that I want to do different things when I am out of here." On the other hand, her grand father Barron Hilton disinherited Paris of her legacy amounting to nearly $60 millions, which would be donated to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.

Another fallout of her jail term was that Sculptor Daniel Edwards created a statue of Paris Hilton in clay depicting her as dead and naked with her legs spread. He intends to drive the message to all young girls and women to stop drunken driving.
